Taibandal H.S School is situated in the foot of small hills that are covered with greeneries. It is almost 60 kms away from the capital Agartala and 14 kms from Melaghar, the city of Neermahal, the water palace, One can reach here via Mohanbhog crossing the river Gomati. The school was established by a few visionary people in the year 1951 with a view to spread the light of education among the local tribals and non tribals. After crossing so many steps the school has reached its present state and is the main centre of literacy and education for the students of its surrounding area spreading over more than 20 Sq kms.
